How secure is DataVue?

Can I try DataVue for free?
Yes! Our Launchpad Plan is free forever and is the perfect way to get started. It includes 1 Secure Space, 2 GB of storage, and 1 free AI query per month. You can sign up without a credit card.
What file types does DataVue support?
DataVue supports virtually all common file types, including PDFs, Microsoft Office documents (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), all standard image types (JPG, PNG, GIF), and video files. Our secure in-app viewer allows recipients to preview most documents without needing to download them.
How does DataVue compare to other solutions like Dropbox or traditional VDRs?
DataVue is designed to fit perfectly between basic file-sharing tools and overly complex, expensive Virtual Data Rooms (VDRs). Unlike simple cloud storage, we provide essential professional features like page-by-page analytics, access control, and dynamic watermarking. Billing & Plans
Can I change my plan later?
Yes, absolutely. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time directly from the "Billing" section in your account settings. Any changes are prorated automatically.
What happens if I go over my storage limit?
If you approach your plan's storage limit, we will notify you so you can manage your files. On our free Launchpad plan, you will need to upgrade to the Founder plan to add more storage. On our paid plans, you have the option to upgrade or use our pay-as-you-go billing for any extra storage you need.
Do you offer discounts for startups?
Yes! We are passionate about helping founders succeed. Our Startup Program offers significant discounts of up to 70% on our annual plans for eligible pre-seed, seed, and Series A companies. You can apply directly on our website.
Features & Functionality
Can I use my own logo and branding?
Yes! Our Business (Pro) Plan includes custom branding features, allowing you to replace the DataVue logo with your own and match the color scheme to your brand. This creates a seamless, professional experience for your clients and investors.
How does the AI Investor Memo work?
Our AI Investor Memo is a powerful feature available on the Business (Pro) plan. It analyzes the content of your Secure Space—including your pitch deck, financials, and team bios—to generate a concise summary and provide suggestions on potential strengths and weaknesses. It's like having an AI co-pilot for your fundraising efforts.
Can I invite people from outside my company to a Secure Space?
Yes, absolutely. This is a core function of DataVue. You can securely invite anyone to a Secure Space with just their email address. They do not need to be a member of your workspace or have a paid DataVue plan to view the documents you share with them.
Who owns the data and files I upload?
You do. You retain 100% ownership of all content you upload to DataVue. We are simply a secure custodian for your data and will never access, share, or use your content for any purpose other than providing the service to you.
